Gridlock in Mattress Mecca (Vienna)

"The Town of Vienna will install new curb/gutter and sidewalk as well as handicap ramps and crosswalks at street intersections along Church Street NE, from 352 Church Street to Beulah Road. Construction will start November 7 and is anticipated to last up to 90 days, assuming no major delays."

Up to 90 days? Can we just make Vienna cease to exist?

Fortunately, I don't live near Route 1. I also don't live near Aleppo or Mosul, so their travails do not affect my commute either.
