Fair Ridge Bus Shelter

Does anyone know what happened to the wood frame structure on Route 50 east, right before the exit to West Ox Road? It's been there for years - looks like a quaint train station or bus stop type structure. Now it doesn't look so quaint, like a bus hit it or something. Seriously damaged and being stabilized with wooden bracing.

There was an accident between a Mini-Van and a Sport Utility van at that intersection on August 25. A van ended up in the bus shelter.
