A man with a red mustache, and wearing a "South Park" hoodie, robbed the Carter Bank and Trust in Nokesville late Thursday morning.

The robber walked into the bank at 12912 Fitzwater Drive around 11:30 a.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded money, police said.

He then fled on foot.

Witnesses described the robber as white and in his early 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a red mustache. He wore a gray and black hooded sweat shirt with "South Park" written on the back.

Brentsville District High School and Nokesville Elementary School were in "secure the building' mode for about an hour after the heist, but the all clear was given at 12:30 p.m.

Residents in the area say Aden Road is closed at Marstellar Drive as police stop cars in search of the robber.

Be careful what you post. Identifying someone by saying they were wearing a hoodie can be construed as being racist. That could have been Obama's son, if he had one.

Right?!

Also, are they sure it didn't say "south pole" because I'm pretty sure no one has worn anything that has to do with South Park since 2000...

Police have released grainy surveillance photos in their search for the man who robbed the Carter Bank and Trust in Nokesville late Thursday morning.

The man walked in to the bank at 12912 Fitzwater Drive at 11:18 a.m., approached the counter and passed a note demanding money and implying he had a weapon, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

The robber fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as white, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 pounds, with a thin build and a reddish mustache.

Police originally reported he was wearing a sweatshirt with “South Park” written on the back, but now say it was a gray hooded sweatshirt with the clothing brand “Southpole” embroidered on the back.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700.

Police this week released new surveillance photos in their search for the man who robbed the Carter Bank and Trust in Nokesville on March 6.

Police on Tuesday said the robber fled in an older model, two-door, Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700.

No way he's 150 -- unless he's wearing a fat suit he's for sure 200+

Also on Friday, police arrested a man and obtained warrants for a woman suspected in the March 6 robbery of the Carter Bank and Trust in Nokesville.

A Crime Solvers tip led to the identity of the man police believe robbed the bank, 33-year-old Michael Lee Jerman of Moss Court in Manassas, Perok said.

Detectives were also able to identify the owner of the getaway truck as belonging to Jerman’s girlfriend, Regina Rinker.

Jerman was charged with robbery and held without bond. Rinker was arrested in Warren County and is awaiting extradition back to Prince William, Perok said.
