Road report
Posted by: 0tter ()

Just made it home from my overnight shift. 66 is untouched and crawling at 25-35 mph. 29 is hit or miss but mostly covered in snow.

Plows are out there but the snow is very quick to recoat things. Even after a plow passes, the pavement isnt visable. No pre treating due to rain. Stay home if the choice is yours. This won't be as smooth as the last one. Conditions appeared to be the worst of the season.

P.S. Across the 20 mile trek, I saw three spun out vehicles (1 pickup, 2 SUV). Tow trucks were already there.

I drove into work this morning to avoid being "plowed in", back roads had been plowed as well as Rt28. Problem is, the snow justs covers it again.

Thank god I work for the government and never have to drive to work in this crap. My boss asked me to telework today and I told him I would start doing that when the government pays for my internet access and pays me rent for using my house as their office.

I can't telecommute from my house either. The vodka seems to interfere with my internet reception.

That part in your taxes where it says did you incur any work related expensive that were not reimburse by your company? Though i'm not sure how that works for goverment workers.

There are many out of work who would gladly take the job you don't want.
Maybe they'll get it tomorrow.
Grow up and show some integrity.

Passed this earlier today. Cops hadn't shown up yet, but at least the owner put out a cone. Ha!
