Where are the largest ABC stores in Fairfax? The ones with the biggest selection?
I'm familiar with the small stores, like in Vienna. but that place is tiny!

Total Wine in Fairfax and Chantilly I think has a decent selection

If you are looking for something in particular, any of the ABC stores will order from other stores.
I had a difficult time finding Calvados in stock in VA stores. The manager at the store on Rt 50 and Germantown ordered it from a DC store and I had it two days later.

I've been in about a dozen different abcs around the county, and there all pretty much the same size, IMO.
Btw, total wine doesn't carry the hard bevs. But they do have a excellant wine and beer selection.

I remember when ABC introduced "Self-Serve" stores where you could walk around and shop.
Before that, a counter went across the width of the store and you never touched a bottle until you paid the clerk and he handed it to you in a brown paper bag.
I guess they finally figured that the increased sales from "impulse purchases" more than made up for shoplifting losses.

There used to be one on Tyco Rd, but I am not sure if it is still there. Years ago I worked for a restaurant and thats where we'd go pick up our orders- it was a warehouse and I know you could walk in off the street and purchase too.
