STUNNING FINAL ANALYSIS=> GOP Primary Turnout Up 62% This Year – Dem Primary Turnout Down 21% This Year

Jim Hoft Jul 4th, 2016 10:59 am

This ought to keep Democrats up late at night.
Despite the constant negative press by the liberal media, Republicans are coming off a historic primary season.

Republican turnout was up 62% this year.
Democratic turnout was down 21% this year.

Despite her tight race with Socialist Bernie Sanders Hillary Clinton received 1,019,237 fewer votes this year than in 2008.

DEMOCRAT PARTY TURNOUT–

** In 2008 there were 38,111,341 Democrat votes in the primary. In 2016 there were 29,939,251 votes. A net decrease of 8,172,090 (-21%).

REPUBLICAN PARTY TURNOUT–

** In 2012 there were 19,214,513 Republican votes in the primary. In 2016 there were 31,108,968 votes. A net increase of 11,894,455 (+62%).

Republicans had 1.1 million more primary voters this year than the Democratic party.

These are stunning numbers!

Democrats are not yet energized to vote for Hillary. That will change once the indictment possibility goes away.

Obama is expected to bring out the black vote for her.

Hillary and company are claiming that 12,000,000 Democrats voted in the Republican primaries this year because they thought Trump would be a weak candidate against her.

No evidence or polling suggests this is true, but if it was, the strategy appears to have backfired.

This is too funny. OP's source compares 2008 and 2016 for one party and 2012 and 2016 for the other.

Not really. I have never voted in a GOP primary until this year and only did so to cast a vote against Trump. Same with my wife who would otherwise likely vote in a Dem primary. Trump got about the same 10 million primary votes Mitt got in '12 but unlike that cycle there were about 15 million more GOP voters casting votes for someone else. No way he's getting all of those votes.

Jeb, Kasich, Rubio, any one of them could have beaten a corrupt, entitled Hillary. Sorry, but I won't vote for an incompetent idiot for pres just because the only rational reason for doing so is to prevent Hillary from becoming the next pres. Nice going Trumptardz.
