Power outages, gas leaks, traffic lights out in Clifton/C-ville

I started hearing sirens about 6 pm, I immediatly get on the scanner, but nothing related to that, then at 6:15 i'm outside and a neighbor come over, says there is fire trucks all over Union mill rd, and maybe a gas leak, b/c the gas is off.

The scanner then tells me that traffic lights are out all over the parkway and also braddock rd form the parkway to new braddock.

My power went out for maybe 5 mins at 6:35 or so.

anyone knows what happened/has pictures/more info?

I have no idea, but there was a lot of traffic on Braddock Rd (the little portion near the Colonnade) that was backed up trying to turn onto Union Mill. That was probably at about 6:30. No power outage here.
