Here are the good ones on the north side of Fairfax:

Friday afternoons at the Sterling Chick-Fil-A, near the new Wal-Mart, a bunch of the older folks with classics meet up during the warm weather. They'll probably start up again in late March. NOTE: These meetups are not "classics-only," though. There are usually a lot of tuned and tricked cars as well. It's open invitation, so you'll see just about anything pull in. Lots of fun.

At the Reston Silver Diner, the old guys also get together on Saturday nights. Same thing as above - usually it's weather permitting. This is mostly classics, though.

Also, the Sterling Classic (which benefits individuals suffering from muscular dystrophy) happens every fall (usually September) in the NoVa Sterling parking lot. Nobody's turned down from that one - if you want to show off a vehicle you're proud of, they'll usually accept you. If you want to attend and/or show off a car there, let me know - I am friends with the guys who coordinate the event.

I want to have a "beater-upper" show, for comedic value, where people bring just awful cars in horrible shape that just kinda "got that way" without special assistance. I seriously think it would good for a laugh on a sat. adternoon. Door fees could go to charity of course or it could just be free and we could ask people to donate.

I would assume that's Dodge's Police Interceptor contender, the one they're trying to sell to the NYC cops.

Googled:

Yup, it is.

no, using "U R" to represent "you are" is gay. i dont know what DAYUM stands for but expecting everyone to know what it means, is gay. there are only a few acronyms that you can expect everyone to know: LOL, BRB and STFU. at this moment i would like to tell you to STFU.

DAYUM is the way the non-educated say and spell the word damn. It's kind of like the biatch thing, only gayer. Also similar to BOO YA...which I would have to say is the most gay as it has no meaning at all.

Totally agree! Would support!

There's a national racing series called LeMons that comes to Summit Point Raceway in WV every year. The rules prohibit spending more than $500 to purchase your car. Costumes and themes encouraged. So much awesome!
