2014 plowing

Does anybody know who you call to complain about the plowing? I just spent the day shoveling out, and thats shitty but normal - the plows have been decent but this guy just came thru and an obvious contractor it wasn't a VDOT truck and he just dumped the whole load at the end of my driveway and then left. is there anyone to call about this?

Try VDOT Cust Serv - says its 24 hrs per day: 800-367-7623. Post what results you get. Same thing happened to our neighbor.

Same thing here. We live at the end of a pipe stem. 4 hours to completely clear driveway. Came home and we now have a 4 foot high block of flipping ice blocking 3/4 of the entrance. Just great...

Where do you think they're going to put it? Driveways are everywhere, the snow has to roll off of the plow somewhere...

Exactly.

WTF? That's what happens every time the street gets plowed. The objective is to get the snow out of the damn road, not to preserve the path out of your driveway. Either plan ahead and park so they have to run plow around it or deal with digging it out again.

There are only 4 driveways on my culdesac and the asshole put a 6 foot wide mound of snow 3-4 ft high in front of 2 of them. There were no parked cars on the street and plenty of places to put the snow.
