my car cant even go 120. how the hell did you even manage to get up to 120 in a 40MPH zone? your car must be heavily modified. i agree with the others... getting hit by a car with a difference of 70MPH (lets assume someone is speeding at 50MPH) is deadly especially when you lose control and hit a non-moving object. good advice for you: GET A GOOD LAWYER NOW

Isn't it 1 day in jail for each mph over 100? But i heard that was on a highway 55mph limit.
for a 40 limit? Get a good laywer buddy, to minimize the jail time, but you're going to jail most DEFINETELY.

Well, that's only if you were drunk at the time of infraction. But if you were sober, I think it's actually only a $10 fine and they take your license away for a couple of hours on afternoon.
