Can Boys Join Girls on the Run? in FCPS

We know that girls are allowed to go to the boys bathrooms now, and Boys are allowed to go in girls bathroom.
Curious if kid's school does not have a similiar program for boys can boys join GOTR? Society of Women Engineers, and I think GEMS accepts males wondered if GotR also allowed this. DS loves to run, has more female friends mainly because they are calmer in his classroom/playground experiences and he is a reserved kid. As a kid I was in a Boy Scout program. GotR might be a good fit for him.

No. The women who run the company (above the school level) are notorious men-haters, and have made quite a bit of money through GOTR. Men are allowed to volunteer as gofers, but not much else. If you want a real eye-opener, take a look at the lesson plans in the three-ring binder... if you can get a hold of one. Indoctrination of girls is the focus.
There is no scenario where even if a mom wanted to sign up her son to run with the girls that it would be allowed. Not going to happen ever.

Girls on the Run is NOT a FCPS program but a program that is usually sponsored by PTAs.
Our school uses an alternative program designed by teachers that is much less expensive, with days for boys and girls. But if a child wanted to practice with a specific group, that's fine. Because the message of physical fitness is NEUTRAL.

Isn't this a violation of Title IX? Think of the shit storm if FCPS had Boys on the Run, or the Boys Computer Club.

Check out FPYC Running (fpycsports.com), great program for kids. Been associated with both, this is much better, esp for a boy.
