FCPD Chopper Finds Freezing Man in Wooded Area

Fairfax County police flight officers using heat-seeking radar located a distraught, wounded man on a frigid January afternoon in Fairfax County, in a video released Tuesday by FCPD. Police did not give the exact location of the rescue.
They quickly directed patrol officers to the man's location and, likely this timely response saved his life, according to FCPD.

Remember yesterday I posted about the helicopter and called the police. They said they it wasn't there helicopter. So it was on channel 4 and on Chantilly Patch. Hello, we are to have confidence in the police? I called them because who wants to walk their dog not knowing what is going on and if we are safe. Maybe the dispatcher I talked to didn't know what was going on but give me a break. Aren't they supposed to be keeping us citizens informed especially if we are worried about our own safety.

Maybe the guy stabbed or shot himself because he is a nut case trying to kill himself. Maybe he broke into a house and was shot by homeowner and ran into the woods to hide. Maybe he attacked a woman trying to kill her but got "wounded" before running into the woods. Maybe its none of these. Just maybe....

This happened in the woods right behind my house. Helicopter was circling for over an hour! There were police cars everywhere. Was taking my kids out to the car and I asked one of the officers what was going on. As the helicopter circled us, she gave me a death stare and said "Nothing's going on."
