Remember when Bullying was good and funny in FCPS
Posted by: FCPS 1975 GRAD ()
Date: July 13, 2015 10:01PM

I graduate Fairfax High School in June 1975. I remember going to Elementary school and Middle School and High School. I remember we used to bully everyone. The poor, the rich and the fat and skinny. and Not once did they get their "felling hurt" or anything. But Last year my 6th grade son was even suspend from his school because of "bullying" The first incident we had to talk to the Principal (Overpaid guy) The Assistant Principal, and the guidance counselor. The "counselor" was asking us if there is something go on at home that might be the reason for the "bullying" I had to lie and tell them that he will be "grounded" and It won't happen again. Then the AP said if it does she will not NO OTHER Choice but to suspended him....
When We got home I told my son that bullying is fine and is just the way of life. Long story short he bullied this fat kid a couple days before school ended on June 17 and got suspended for the rest of the school year. My question is why is FCPS so gay now when the bullying issue comes? After all we all grow up ok and we bullied people and we got bullied too. Are we going to make our kids gay now?

It still is good and funny IMO. I was the "nerdy" kid in school and I was picked on all the time by the jocks. It made me a stronger person emotionally, I joined the military, and after serving, I now work in a very successful industry. I personally think being picked on in school made a positive impact on me, as it taught me how to have thick skin and focus on what matters and not be distracted by "noise".

Bet this is posted by a Christian given how well they follow Jesus. Religion too complicated for goyim so just default to dumbassery and "I can act any way I want because of some nonsensical voodoo ritual!"

Can't quite figure out what WWJD is trying to say, but doesn't matter, not my dog.

Clearly bullying CAN be severe and, like, Bad. But IMHO the current climate has gone WAY too far in the other direction. As kvuGF notes, it was a fact of life when most of us were young, and it's a fact of life in the real world--OK, that guy in the next cubicle isn't likely to give you a wedgie or a swirlie, but he may not play fair. All too many of today's utes [as Vinnie would call 'em] are going to have VERY rude awakenings when they get away from Mommy and Daddy and find out that everybody doesn't get a trophy for every little thing, and that some people who cheat DO prosper.

My fervent hope is that the pendulum sways back soon, to a more normal midpoint.

Related: most of today's high schoolers (and probably college kids) have NEVER BEEN IN A FIGHT. Seriously. Same problem: disconnection from the way the real world works. JFC, fights were daily occurrences when I was in elementary school. Nobody ever got seriously hurt, and we all knew a wee bit more about how to handle ourselves in the face of adversity.

And now I sound like a cranky old man. Well, if the foo shits...

Yes, lib public schools are making kids gay and pussified. After I graduated from college and moved back home, the bullies were fat and had jobs like beer truck drivers and still doing the same stupid shit with the same people. The kids that got picked on we're the ones with EE degrees and business owners.

Today, kids have no jobs, no ambition, have been labeled children to age 26 by Obama, have enormous college debt and are on welfare because libs made them pussies and the world is dog eat dog.

If you graduated from FCPS I want my money back. I lost track of how many mistakes are in here.

I went to Robinson and got multiple atomic wedgies the first two years then gave multiple atomic wedgies in later years. It builds character.

Not from this exact area, but bullying was everywhere in schools.
I know a lot of bullies who died young from various diseases. Good.
What goes around comes around! Most were so fracking insecure.

Punch a bully in the nose and they'll stop bothering you. It works, I know.

Now, Dr. Steve Lockard insists that we get Boosterthon to come in to our schools and teach us why bullying is bad and how to stop it.

Let him know what you think: salockard@fcps.edu.

Don't forget that Boosterthon eats into instructional hours. That costs money and the kids don't learn as much. AFAIK, Boosterthon is not part of the SOL.

So, don't come crying when your kids fail their SOL and can't even get into George Mason. If they are lucky they can get jobs cleaning the toilets at Hyundai dealerships.

But, while it lasted, I guess Boosterthon was fun, and they can wear those neat wristbands to work!

You used the word "goyim". Are you Jewish? If so, Jesus, mind you, was the most Jewish Man who has walked the earth. Your synagogue is lying to you about who is actually was. You're a coward if you do not read the new Testament. When you do, you will find it is a very "Jewish" book, written by Jews and inspired by the Greatest jew who ever lived. It is a Shaunda if you never have read the Complete Bible ... don't miss out on knowning your Messiah.

Well, besides that and speaking of Jesus, "Turning the other cheek" is what he taught. Doing that shows humility. If you hit back right away, you are a coward. This is a spiritual principle, not a natural one.

If you are in fear for your life, you defend yourself. That is completely natural and not always unspiritual.

The struggle at it's root is not in the physical, but what is going on inside a person's head.

Going to the principle and even the superintendent won't prevent bullying. They don't want to be bothered. They will just leave it to the schools for suspension, etc., depite what the true facts are -- They don't care.

Bullies are like Court Jesters or fools. They will push people around and when someone stands up and defends themselves, they point the finger and cry fowl.

Standing one's ground comes into play as a last resort.

I always liked wrestling to take a bully out of their element. Wrestling wears down the bully's confidence and in the end he won't have as much opportunity to point the finger at who he was bullying, because he didn't get pounded.

There's always the 3 strike rule:

Give the bully 2 touches, weather a shove or a hit, then hit the bully square in the nose as hard as one can ... the bully will there after avoid the one who delivered the blow.

There are other ways to deal with some bullies besides physical relatiation. Taking revenge is stupid. That is something which belongs to God anyway.
There are always some bullies who won't relent, however, and need to learn the hard waym that they are human too.

Yep, typical lib bully who drives a beer truck, lives in his mothers basement and just turned 40.

The fact he can write more than one complete sentence makes me believe he may have actually gone to school in some other jurisdiction.

What were some Good Pranks growing up?
Posted by: Prank Victim ()
Date: July 14, 2015 01:02PM

There were some pranks done on me growing up. One I can remember is the Diverted Water Fountain spray. Some kids had taken an aspirin pill and wedged it in the spicket so that the spray would be diverted towards the crotch. They hid in an empty classroom waiting for an unsuspecting victim. Unfortunately, that was me. I had to live with a puddle on my trousers for the next hour and defend my tankability.

It sure does. The only problem is it's you that will get in trouble.

In school, I was a very ugly and obese girl, so you know they came after me. I cried and hid for years, but one day this dude spit on me. I can't stand being spit on. Anyway I went after him. Although I was pretty strong, I'm very uncoordinated, so I took more hits than I landed. Way more.

Funny though, I found that I enjoyed pain. It was exhilarating. I felt like I was alive for the first time in my life. Word travels and they pretty much left me alone after that. Only trouble is, I grew up in foster homes, about a dozen of them until I aged out at 18. So I was in a new school at least once a year, so I had to "teach" them not to fuck with me at each new school. I was always the one to get suspended for fighting even though I never started a single fight. Finally got expelled when in my senior year, but I was about to be put out of the foster program on my 18th bday, so I wouldn't have finished school anyway.

Anyway, to this day, if somebody spits on me, shit is ON. I don't how big, man or woman, or anything. I do not feel pain (until later, LOL)
