Interstate 66

why are there so many car accidents on 66? Especially between Nutley and the Manassas exits. Are people just bad drivers and/or stupid?

The root cause is too many vehicles and not enough road due to inadequate public transportation. The problem is beyond the control of VDOT. The only possible solution is to get people out of their cars. We need to hit these drivers in the pocketbook with nationwide steep increases in gasoline taxes and use that money to add public transportation at a very low cost to those that use it.
I hate to sound racist but it seems that 4 out of 5 crashes in the Fairfax area involve Asian drivers.

There are horrible Asian drivers. They seem to make poor driving decisions. However, the vast majority of accidents I see involve white people. I think they are worse drivers than Asians (at least in the DC area)
