It looks like the temperatures are going to drop drastically Monday tonight and remain below zero all day on Tuesday due to wind chill. Wednesday is also looking to be pretty cold as well. FCPS is sure having a tough time of it this year considering how many buses couldn't get started last Friday despite the 2-hour delay. Predictions?

It'll be a repeat of Friday or worse. Unless they leave them running all night, a lot of them (with bad glow plugs) are not going to start Tuesday morning.
One day maybe they'll figure out that it's cheaper just to fix them than go through all this horseshit every time it's cold. But, I wouldn't hold your breath.

My 3rd cousin's best friend's 2nd cousin's best friend is a teacher at FCPS. She said that schools will be closed Tues & Wed this week because it's not fair that schools are closed Thur & Fri yet the teachers have to work. Cold weather will just be an excuse to cover this up.

Parents of FCPS students: please plan on taking off the remainder of the week, if you're one of the few who still work and don't live off taxpayer largess, as we will close school on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday we're already closed. Teachers are reminded that on Thursday they should bring all of the ingredients for the cocktail they signed up to make that day, as well as sufficient number of cups for all staff.
