I was in Tysons last week around lunch time, on the couches near the Plaza Entrance were to late 20, early 30 hood rats asleep! Asleep on the couches at noon on a weekday in a major shopping mall! I guess these hard working, upstanding citizens were exhausted from working 2 jobs?

Last Aug I was in a store and 3 early 30 hood rats were wandering in the same store. They never came more than 25 feet from me and they REEKED of weed. Again this was just after lunchtime on a weekday. Must be nice to be able to blaze up and wander around all day.

Silver Line is a pipeline for trash and criminals to Tysons/McLean, Reston is next.

FCPD will have to double their team size at Tysons, they greatly under estimated the problems the Silver Line will bring!

yesterday I got a call from my credit card company indicating that someone had stolen my card number and tried to use it in both anacostia DC and the new walmart in tysons. I cant help but think that person got there via the new metro station. unfortunately metro to this area is a two way system. But with no real parking to go from out to in the city, the benefit seems to be in to out. yikes.

I am guessing your credit card number may have been stolen locally by some of the "new" store clerks that are now taking jobs along the Silver Line in the Tysons area?

I have noticed that there has been a major shift in demographics of the store clerks and they seem to also attract a lot of their family members and friends to the area.

As they say, there goes the hood!

That’s it! Close it after morning rush hour and open it again for the evening rush home. Have it run like a commuter bus.

You must still believe in the made up world of super cops. Just how many normal cops do you think it takes to arrest two people who are trying to run away or fight to keep from going to jail?

I've never liked Tyson's and haven't gone there in years. There's nothing there I can't buy at other locations or online so there's no need for me to fight the
traffic and deal with thugs when I get there. If the thugs want it I say let them have it. Silver Line my ass.

Still laugh at the fact that the first commercial area you come to after crossing Chain Bridge is McLean with about 30 banks in a square mile.

On average there is probably at least 1 bank robbery a month in McLean.
