Nope, he's not scary, he's hilarious. It's just not that easy to get past the fact that, despite being a Harvard trained lawyer lauded for his intellect by his professors (if it were Obama about whom we were speaking, you'd claim "affirmative action", and you know it; but the Hispanic guy...) he was evidently unaware that he held citizenship in the country of his birth.
Reading "Green Eggs and Ham" during a filibuster meant as nothing more than showmanship -- well, it was no "Mr. Smith goes to Washington", that's for sure. I'll bet even "Bedtime for Bonzo" B actor Ronnie wouldn't have appeared in the same production.
We Liberals biggest regret if Mr. Cruz were to actually, (snigger) win, would be that Jon Stewart would have already retired. That would have been a skewering for the ages.
