Drone Porn

I know someone has done it, but I am surprised there has been no mention of drone porn here on this forum. Also drones seem perfect for perverts, creeps, jerk-offs, and alike.

Is that picture from your drone? I kind of doubt it though.

If so, it is very good quality. It must be an expensive model. What type is it?

Hmmm... That's some in depth detective work, but I think the photos legit. It looks like a wide angle still from a GoPro, which means the building in the foreground is pretty close. The angle looks different than it would from the other building as well. Of course that's all I can tell from my dinky iPhone.

I think he's hovering over the top deck of the parking garage, he might have taken off from there.

Yeah he seems to far up to be standing on that other building.

Oh, and KT, I tend not to hold your opinion too highly when you can't differentiate between "your" and "you're". In fact, both of your responses were utter disasters in terms of punctuation. Which is an obvious indicator of your lack of intelligence. I'm sorry you hate your life enough to be transparently bitter on social media. I sincerely hope your weightwatchers group is more supportive of you in the future.

So, are these done with a Parrot? That brand seems to have the best drones for the money.

A parrot couldn't do anything remotely like this, no. This is a custom-built Dji Phantom 2.

KT, don't get too upset now. Just because you aren't attractive & had to spell your name with Capital letters to set yourself apart from the other more attractive Katies.

That's kind of cool. I can't believe nobody waved when you flew near the Tyson's entrance, although I guess that's typical for this area. Is it legal to fly a drone around there? If not, what would happen if you got caught?

It was perfectly legal. I have public liability insurance in the odd case of a power failure, but the quad uses GPS signals to hold its position, and returns to me automatically in the event of signal loss or if I flip a switch. I have all flight parameters being relayed to me through my ground screen.

The worst I've heard of around this area is people getting fined for flying over Great Falls National Park. We don't know what's going to happen to the guy who crashed into the White House grounds yet. Unless you do something spectacularly reckless or dumb the worst that happens is they ask you to leave.

...forgot to mention this. Stay out of any National Park. The Rangers hate these things with a passion. If you get caught expect to get fined and maybe have your gear seized. I have heard from friends the rangers will tell you that not only are you not allowed to fly in the park you're not even allowed to be in possession of one on park land. Sounds like a power trip to me but that's what I was told.

They are indeed strict. However, I have gone to a couple of national parks, asked permission, and had no issues.

I flew mine last week over the Grand Canyon. Rangers asked me lots of questions about it and expressed a general interest. I think the national parks around the DC area are operating on a different set of rules.

It's a nationwide policy.

Trappy got arrested for flying in the Grand Canyon in 2012. They seized his gear and even when his attorney got the charges dropped they refused to return it. That incident led directly to the nationwide ban.

Well, that was 2012...as I said, I had no issues flying there last week. The rangers said I was welcome back anytime. Probably some new leadership out there and common sense has prevailed.
