I need to file for a patent for some software code. Anyone have any recommendations for a local firm?

I own a biotech.

I have went through so many bad Patent Lawyers. Even West coast ones. Get reputable references.

And, you want it as broad as you can to start.

True. You might patent a method of coding or some novel result, concept, algorithm, or application which is embodied in or accomplished through some coding but not the code per se.

You can copyright code.
