Just goes to show what a joke the military is. In the days of the Draft, service was to be revered. Now with the all voluntary military, it's just a free job and cheap health insurance.

I got a purple Heart in 'Nam, 1969. I cut my hand real bad on a beer can.

They've always handed out purple hearts for little or nothing. Medals and shit is how they get stupid kids to die for ExxonMobil.
