Four hours late with this thread, but at around 5:30 a call was broadcast over the scanner about a 16 year old girl who hung herself. Attempts at CPR were unsuccessful. I wasn't able to catch the address so I'm not sure what school she attended. Was anyone else listening able to hear that one?

Was she was Woodson? Did she do it by the Burke VRE?

Va. Hills. Edison or Hayfield student? attempted suicide. They took her to the hospital. I don't know if she lived. I hope so for her family.

I was hoping you had heard something. Virginia Hilld is Hayfield. If I heard right it was that the parents were doing CPR and the first officer on scene continued to perform CPR. That usually isn't a good sign.

Via the company line, this was a White Girl who was bullied in school.

I was listening but didn't notice the call, I was cooking for Thanksgiving. I listened to the archives after I saw your post. I don't know who found her but it wasn't the parents. They called her mom and she went to the hospital. So sad.

The school most likely told the white girl not to walk down the hall they are in and not to use to same bathrooms they do. If she does she is the one causing trouble. The school is to blame for letting such bull shit go on.

It's going to be hard to confirm for the next couple days, due to school being out and all. Usually we have to wait until the school releases something about it. And then there's the possibility that she isn't dead, though she's certainly brain dead.

Either way it's a tragedy and on the day before Thanksgiving too. But even more heartbreaking is seeing all these people on here rushing to defend the bullies that drove her to do this.

Face Book usually gets the word out quickly to the students.

She was not white. A very nice black family. She was not bullied. Had an argument with her mom and hanged herself. She passed away this morning. Her young brother called 911 and witnessed it. Poor child screaming in front of his house for help. Neighbors came running. Very tragic. May she rest in peace and bring comfort to this family.

Sorry that a young life was lost over an argument. I hope that her brother and mother can move on with their lives. I'm glad this was not a case of racial bullying as stated by company line folk.

You had me going up until you claimed she was from a "very nice black family". Good one!

What a tragedy, so sad this has to happen again and we as a society need to work towards helping our fellow man.

Schools will play a role and I know as a tax payer will support a higher tax for more counselors.

Too bad that will never happen in the Peoples Republic of Fairfax County because we need money for those "documented" immigrants.

I hope Fairfax County, will set up a grand jury investigation, to see if Officer Wilson is culpable.
