Larry Michael Curse

Well the Larry Michael curse is in full effect again! Ever since he left Westwood One and threw his weight around stealing Frank Herzog's job the 'Skins have stunk. This year on top of his awful play by play calls he's making tons of mistakes. Get out Larry Michael... leave us alone!!!

You're on to something. When he did play by pay of ND football games, the Irish sucked!

The team was terrible before Larry Michaels. It's cursed with a bad owner.

Larry Michael is awful with that fake radio voice, but the skins suck because Snyder is cursed. Larry Michael is just a hack, no talent, d bag.

The only way the Redskins will ever win and make it to the superbowl is on Xbox.

That guy is awful. The job must have gone to the lowest bidder.

Combined with nearly senile Sonny Jurgenson and Chris Cooley, that broadcast team is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard or eating aluminum foil.

Man, I thought I was the only one who thought the radio broadcast team sucked. Larry Michael's voice is irritating, Sonny's drunk by the third quarter and Cooley should stick to pottery, he's not very good at radio on Sundays or any other day of the week.

Sam Huff was unintelligible from the get-go. Hard to make sense of some of the stuff he said. There should be a "best of" Sam Huff-isms.

Yes, but that was part of the charm. Sonny would spend half the broadcast either poking fun at or trying to unravel Sam's many malaprops. Sam was definately a throwback -- to the era before football players wore helmets.

There was one expression he used now and then that I occasionally work into conversation after hearing it. Being the good ol' West By God Virginia boy that he is, he would sometimes say when one player totally dominated another, "He beat him like a rented mule".
