Perhaps her motto was, "go big or go home."

Recently, a Fairfax City man reported that an unknown female had stolen his identity, and had used it to try and purchase not one, but two cars from the local Fairfax Motors dealership at 9909 Main Street, according to a City of Fairfax police report.

The victim told police on Dec. 19 that, between June 26 and Sept. 30, a woman had used his identifying information to falsify two credit applications and buyer's orders for two vehicles at Fairfax Motors.

City of Fairfax Police are investigating the incidents as identity fraud.

The following additional incidents were also reported by the City of Fairfax Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 18 - Unlawful Entry: A contractor reported that, sometime after 4:30 p.m. the previous day, an unknown person or persons had entered a vacant home he is in the process of renovating and kicked the walls, and left cigarette butts and beer cans in one of the rooms. The home is located in the 3800 block of Richard Avenue.

Dec. 19 - Larceny: A woman reported that her diamond ring—which she had taken off and placed on the counter of the TJ Maxx store at 10300 Main Street so she could try on other jewelry—was stolen. The police are investigating the incident as larceny.

Dec. 9 - False Pretenses: A man reported to police that he had given another man money to bail his friend out of jail, but the man had not done so, and had not returned the money. The friend is still being held in jail on a detainer. As a result of the police department's investigation, the suspect was identified and a felony warrant was obtained, charging the suspect with obtaining money through false pretenses.

Dec. 17 - Telephone Threats: A woman who lives in the 4200 block of Ardmore Place reported that, on Dec. 11, she had received a phone call from a man who left a threatening message on her answering machine. As a result of the police department's investigation, the suspect was identified and located in Bedford County, Va. A warrant was obtained charging him with threatening language over the telephone.
