Boy, 12, stabbed while walking in Falls Church

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) -- Police in Fairfax County are investigating what appears to be a random stabbing of a 12-year-old boy in Falls Church.
Police say the boy was attacked Thursday evening around 7 p.m. while walking with friends in the area of the Seven Corners Center, a shopping center that includes Home Depot, Michaels and Barnes & Noble.
Fairfax County police say three men, believed to be in their 20s, stabbed the boy several times. Police say they have no motive for the attack and that the attackers didn't say anything. The boy was not robbed.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his upper body.

Interesting, the police blotter clearly states that the attackers were Hispanic, yet none of the news reports has that information...

The suspects assaulted the boy and stabbed him in the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
