Is there a worse road than Old Keene Mill?

Does anyone know of a road in worse condition than Old Keene Mill road. The section between Hanover and Rolling Road is atrocious. It is like driving in Afghanistan. VDOT is useless, the haven't rated the road in 6 years. I am sick of complaining to them, Albo, and Herrity. Is there another avenue to get Old Keene Mill repaved? It is unbelievable VDOT continues to repaved roads that are in far better condition than Old Keene Mill.

Is this a VDOT maintained road?

LOL, like Afghanistan. What countries have you been to? If this is going to be compared to the streets of Kabul or Kandahar, you are going to have to do better than that.

Indeed. I was chatting with an acquaintance who was ranting about the "poorly maintained roads in this area". I finally said, "You grew up south of the Mason-Dixon line, didn't you?" and sure enough, he had.
The worst road in NoVa is probably better than 99.44% of the roads in places that get real winter.
Having said that, it doesn't invalidate the OP's point, nor excuse Old Keene Mill being bad -- there's a reason the roads are worse up there, and that means that they should be better down here, 'cause they're easier to maintain.

Why are you contacting a county office (Herrity) regarding a state road? The county has absolutely zero say in what roads get repaved. My neighbor complains about our street to our supervisor (well, so she claims) about once a month. She refuses to contact our state reps and then bitches about how nothing ever gets done. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. If Albo isn't helping you perhaps try another state delegate/senator as I believe Old Keene Mill Road runs through more than one district.
