Anyone know good places to get good wings that are not too expensive? I'm in Fairfax...

good wings, cheap? Wing Zings at Safeway or Giant are only about $6 a pound, so you can get about 10 or 12 wings and drumsticks for less than $5.

Granted, they aren't the best. But they're pretty good for the price, and if you live near a 24 hour Giant, they satisfy the late-night munchies. You can find them in one of the coolers near the deli.

Glory Days on Wednesday evenings. 1/2 price wings.

I outgrew it after college, but it's a good deal.

Citronelle is still open? I thought that dinky little restaurant closed down 10 or 12 years ago.

In the Springfield area ...

Good - Kilroy's has Wings for $5/lb on Wednesday's at their happy hour. These are OK and are dipped in one of 4 sauces.

Better -- Hardtimes has 1/2 price wing specials on Wednesdays. The quality is better, but the price isn't anything to write home about. I seem to remember the regular price $7.95 / 2 = $4 for 8 wings. = .50 cents per wing

Best -- Kates has a wing special on Thursdays. They just raised their prices from .25 cents to .35 cents per wing. 10 wings for $3.50 ain't bad. Try the Sweet Chili

Buffalo Wing Factory has an ALL YOU CAN EAT deal on Thursdays for 12.95. This includes both Wings and Tenders.

And... you can tour the actual buffalo wing factory, and watch the wings being made, straight off of the chickens!

I wonder if they have oompa-loompas in the buffalo wing factory?

How about a good place to get wings that have unplucked hairs still coming out of them?

On The Border in Tyson's has free wings during happy hour. Decent and cheapest from a fiduciary standpoint!

Glory Days is 50cents/wing on Wednesday nights. From my experience you have to order them in basket quantities from the menu and you can't split the sauces (half one sauce and half another).
