You don't understand global warming.

Global warming is a heating trend over time. Fluctuations in temperature doesn't change the fact that the general trend in global temperatures is upward.

You need to refine your statement to "fluctuations in regional temperature" Even though our regional temperature is cold as ho lee fuk, the global temperature is indeed rising. This rise in global temperature increases the atmospheric moisture which, in turn, creates more precipitation. The surface wind currents, from high to low pressure systems, dominate most of the upper level pressure systems. It's only a matter of time when cooling will dominate the globosphere.

The low of 4 degrees (F) will be on Monday. Then, the temp will go up to 42 during the day, but retreat back down to 21 (F) on Tuesday.

Compared to the rest of the "norther" U.S., Virginia will seem like a day in Bermuda.
