From now on, we're insisting that drivers of county-owned vehicles postpone the receipt of BJ's from fellow county employees while on a call.

By being fucking stupid and reckless with county owned equipment, knowing it isn't yours. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often, seeing the way those truck are driven.

Thank God it was 4:30am and not 4:30pm...

I'd heard something like that because of the huge drop in fires over the past 40 years but union rules mandating the number of firefighters needed and keeping the numbers artificially high that most firefighters spend their days doing nothing and bored. Is that true?

And further that because of the boredom something like 25% of firefighters on duty are in some way incapacitated due to alcohol or drugs. Is that true? Maybe that was the cause of this accident. Has the driver been given a blood test?

Lots of weed being smoked off duty. Guys and girls take that 4 day break and toke the fuck up. Volunteers toke all the time (right 22 redhead?)and then just don't drive, they sit in the seat until it clears their system.

What about on duty? That's what I'm hearing these disturbing numbers on.

There are wet and dry fire stations. Wet stations usually are the slower ones full of soon to be retired people.
