Where's good place to go get my truck hood open for not alot of money

My hood latch broke today and I'm not able to open the hood of my car. It looks like the primary latch is broken as it won't even open by pulling the hood cable with plyers. I've already locked it up on Youtube and tried all the hundreds of different suggestions they had. It's a Mid-90's Chevy Suburban.
My question is, is there a place or a mechanic anyone can recommend that I can take my truck to to get the hood open and not cost me alot of money? (I literally just paid bills).
I need to get the hood open because the truck needs oil and more coolant.

If you can get to Graham Road Exxon, corner of Rt. 50 and and Graham Road by 2, they could help you.
Next choice would be the "American Majestic" gas station near the Safeway on Lee Highway, in Falls Church, across from the cemetery. They are open later on Saturdays.
Last choice is Falls Church Auto and Tire, that's across Rt. 50 from Graham Road Exxon.

There's no magic involved and nobody will have a secret way to do it. Any place that you go will be faced with the same problem that you are.
Can you get it to pop up to the first stop or not at all? Does the cable pull or not? If you can get it to pop, try bouncing it as somebody pulls the cable. Get some penetrating oil and let that sit and then try it. Otherwise you're going to have to get something in there to trip the latch.

Yeah, I tried all of that. It looks like someone might have messed with the truck during the night and then used a ton of weight to mess up the primary latch. I can get it slightly up but not really enough to do anything. On this suburban there's a triangular shaped piece of metal in front of the primary latch and it's almost impossible to reach. I had rigged it so that if it ever broke, I could simply put an extra cable I had added to the latch (in case the hood release ever broke). Both were working fine last weekend and this weekend they aren't. Tried having someone push down while I pulled, used the doorstop too, tried a screendriver, wrenches, etc. all with a 2nd person and it was no go.

It would help if we knew where you are so we can tell you a shop in your area.
you can also take a hook or screw driver and pry the primary lack to the side to open the hood then add a pull cord once the hood is open

How about drilling a hole in the hood large enough to get to the latch to pop it open. Then you'll be in the market for a rather large hood ornament to cover the hole... something like this would look good on your Suburban:

A body shop might be better equipped to open it than a mechanic. At the worst they might be able to cut the latch off and replace it.
