Chris Peterson is a straight shooter and all around great guy but you have to drive to Culpeper. He will tell you where to start the bidding on ebay and he will make you a cash offer on the spot. He puts no pressure on anyone and just speaks the truth.

As you go South out of Warrenton, there are fewer homes with alarm systems and quite a few older large farms and estates. Take your young urban partner with you - he probably doesn't get out of Ffx Co. much anyway, and he can add to your collection before you even get to Culpeper to sell it.

Silver plate? Vintage or not, it isn't worth anything. Someone might pay you a couple of bucks for it if it is pretty and shiny, but if it's not sterling, forget it.

Do you mean it is a plate made of silver or is it silver plated? If it is a sterling silver piece it is 92.5 percent silver and worth a lot. If it is silver plating it is worthless because the plating is incredibly thin. If it is solid silver you should check out Cameo Coins & Collectibles in Vienna.
