Alcohol Enforcement

CHECKPOINT, Rt. 28/Old Mill Road, 6/14/14. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Five-hundred-thirty-six vehicles passed through. Eight drivers were charged with DWI.

DIRECTED PATROL, 6/15/14. Officers from the Reston Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI. Ten summonses and seven warnings were issued.


Sully District

BURGLARY, 14000 block of Winding Ridge Lane, 6/18/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.



Mount Vernon District

BURGLARY, 8000 block of Pantano Place, 6/13/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 7300 block of Richmond Highway, 6/14/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.




McLean District
BURGLARY, 8300 block of Cottage Street, 6/19/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.


Mason District

BURGLARY, 4000 block of Rose Lane, 6/15/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.


ASSAULT, 3900 block of Melvern Place, 6/17/14, 10:15 p.m. Police responded to a fight between two men inside a private residence. A 28-year-old man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Joel Palacios Vasquez, 44, of the Alexandria area of Fairfax County, was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding.

BURGLARY, 3500 block of Duff Drive, 6/17/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
HOMICIDE, 6900 block of Westmoreland Road, 6/18/14, 9:30 a.m. Officers responded to check on the welfare of a person in a home around 9:30 a.m. No one answered the door and there was nothing that appeared out of the ordinary at that time. Later in the day, officers returned to the home with a homeowner, and entered the residence. They found Glenda Aviles, 28, who had died of stab wounds. Police have obtained an arrest warrant for murder against her boyfriend Juan Ramon Matetu Figueroa, 35. Detectives ask the public’s assistance with helping locate a vehicle that may be related to this crime. A 2004 Gold Mercedes, four-door sedan, Virginia tag WVF-8414, is unaccounted for and is missing from the area. Anyone with information on this vehicle, or the incident, is asked to contact police. The investigation is continuing

BURGLARY, 6900 block of Alpine Drive, 6/19/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.


Reston District

BURGLARY, 9400 block of Myra Drive, 6/13/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.


ROBBERY, 2500 block of John Eppes Road, 6/14/14, 9:25 p.m. The victim had delivered some food and was sitting in his car when the first suspect approached him. The first suspect implied he had a gun and demanded money. The victim resisted and two more suspects approached and assaulted the victim. The victim continued resisting and all three suspects fled on foot. The victim did not require rescue. The first suspect was described as a black male, 24-27, about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with bald head. The second suspect was described as a black male, 20-24, about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall with black hair. The third suspect was described as a black male.
BURGLARY, 1700 block of Wainwright Drive, 6/19/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.


Franconia District

BURGLARY, 6100 block of Deer Ridge Trail, 6/15/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 10200 block of Richmond Highway, 6/16/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.


West Springfield District

BURGLARY, 10700 block of Beechnut Court, 6/14/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 8300 block of Argent Circle, 6/14/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 5700 block of Oak Leather Drive, 6/15/14. A resident reported someone entered the pool and damaged property.

BURGLARY, 5100 block of Sideburn Road, 6/17/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

that was just one day

and it gets worse not better with a gov worried about landscaping packages, having DC metro do VA tranportation, and buying 4 car garage houses. while giving handouts and racial quotas to anyone who isn't goign to turn the table over.

Actually, if your dumb ass could read you could clearly see it wasn't from "just one day". Most of the crime occurring is equal or less than the amount of crime occurring in those areas more than a decade ago when Fairfax was run by completely different people. Crime happens you dumb fuck, and in Fairfax it happens a lot less than neighboring PWC or Stafford where they are full on (R)etards
