t-shirt quilt?

Does anyone know of a local quilter who makes quilts out of keepsake t-shirts? My granddaughter was in so many plays and activites (each of which came with a requisite t-shirt) and I thought it'd be a special gift to get those great shirts out of boxes and made into a quilt. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Also, does anyone know how much these things cost? I have about 25 shirts. Thank you.

I don't know of any but you should check with that quilt shop in Manassas, they might know. Or go out to the Amish market in Annapolis and ask them. I know that there are Amish who will hand sew the batting and finish work on quilts. They might not do it there, but might know someone who does.

Find your local artist/crafter/vender group on Facebook and ask there. I know there is one for Bristow and there's quilters that advertise their services.
