Fairfax Woman Arrested for Felony Embezzlement
http://fairfaxcity.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/crime-report-woman-arrested-for-felony-embezzlement

A Fairfax woman is in custody after an investigation by police determined she had been writing fraudulent checks to herself on the company checkbook.

Jacqueline Carmen Colindres, 35, was an employee of JACER Corporation, which has locations in the Bailey's Crossroads area of Falls Church, and in the county area of Fairfax.

On Dec. 3, a manager at JACER reported to police that they believed an employee had been embezzling funds.

As the result of investigation by the City of Fairfax Police Department's Patrol Division, it was determined that Colindres had been taking fraudulent checks drawn on the company account and depositing them into her personal checking account. The checks were drawn between July 23, 2013 and Nov. 27, 2013.

Police arrested Colindres at work. She was charged with felony embezzlement and ordered held without bond at the Adult Detention Center.

The following additional incidents were also reported by the City of Fairfax Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 22 - Fraud: A resident of the 11100 block of Rock Garden Drive reported that, after applying for credit on an Internet site, a man claiming to be a loan officer contacted her and directed her to obtain a money card and provide him with the number "in order to pay alleged taxes" on the loan. The woman did. After doing so, she received and responded to several additional requests for money card information, but never received the loan money, and was unable to contact back the man who had made the demands. Police believe the caller was located in Pakistan or India.

Nov. 29 - Interdiction Violation: At 1 p.m., officers spotted a man lying passed out in the middle of the sidewalk on Main Street, next to an empty bottle of wine. Police recognized the man as someone they had interdicted before, or charged with an alcohol-related crime. The officer took the 61-year-old transient into custody and transported him to the Adult Detention Center. He was charged with interdiction violation and his bond was set at $1,000.

Dec. 2 - Fraud: A resident of the 3200 block of Armory Court reported that someone had attempted to use his credit card number to place an unauthorized charge on his Internet payment account.

Dec. 2 - Vandalism: A woman reported that, while she had been shopping inside the TJ Maxx at 10300 Main Street, someone had put a nail and a broken scissor tip into the tire of her vehicle, which was parked in the store's parking lot.

Dec. 3 - Larceny/Auto Burglary: At 12:03 p.m., a woman reported that, sometime in the past half-hour. someone had smashed the window of her car and stolen her purse, which contained cash, identification and gift cards. Her car had been parked in the Providence Park parking lot, at 10615 West Dr.

Please take this down immediately this is defamation of character as the outcome was dismissed. As you can tell, the patch already took it down.

If you were arrested, that part is true. Did anyone make actual claims about your guilt, innocence of character? I don't think you have an argument.
