what happed to Tysons II?

I went to Tysons II this afternoon and the place felt like a prison. So many secuirty staff in every store that it didn't seem right. What happened? I haven't been there in 10 years and was stunned by the atmosphere. Do they have that serious of a crime problem? It wasn't very crowded.

Maybe he was trying to impress me with some secret knowledge but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. No one shops there yet stores stay open. My wife used to work in Chevy Chase at one of the luxury goods stores. Those store are robbed on a weekly basis. The Galleria is doing the right thing to protect the employees from the thugs that will soon be roaming the mall.

I think the DC undesirables are mostly going to Tysons 1
Went there on a Sat. and it was packed with many hoodlums.
Tysons II is not that busy so they would stick out like a sore thumb.
