The School Board meetings to discuss later start times for high school students might be more beneficial if held at 7:20 a.m. rather than 7 p.m. The School Board might reach a better decision after rising before dawn to attend an early morning meeting. Of course, the early morning meeting should fall on a Thursday following a week of long and late days meeting obligations.
The School Board might reach a better decision after experiencing the daily life of teenage students instead of discussing the subject of start times at 7 p.m. on a Thursday.

You had me up until you started whinning about athletic and music obligations. Those aren't essential activities, like academics.

White parents need to get their kids OUT of sports, contrary to your dreams they will NOT get a scholarship for play travel soccer.

Put the kids in after school academic studies and then they will be smart like asians, who are pumping out brilliant phd kids by the thousands a day.

If you kid spend the last 6yrs wasting all their time on sports they will NOT be equipped to function at a rigorous college.

Get your kids out of the public schools.

It's a glorified daycare system that puts your kids together with parent less, goalless, losers who will drag decent kids into the gutter.

12 years of "education" that a motivated student could have taught themselves in a few years with a wifi connection. Oh but don't let Johnny miss out on those formative years of "socialization" where he learns groupthink and how to be either the bullied or the bully.

socialization is the definition of being a sheep and mimicking others thoughts and actions to fit in. I was always the quiet type which meant weird to others and because of it not liked by anyone at school.
