Remember back in the day there was a Fudruckers in Annandale?

I went looking for it yesterday and couldn't find it.

Anyone know what street it is on?

It's long gone...there is a Rite Aid there. You have to go to Fairfax location.

fAter a fallow period in the mid Seventies, the band experienced a revival during the late 1970s and early 1980s with albums Sleepwalker, Misfits, Low Budget, Give the People What They Want and State of Confusion. In addition, groups such as Van Halen, the Jam, the Knack, the Pretenders and the Fall covered their songs, helping to boost the Kinks' record sales. In the 1990s, Britpop acts such as Blur and Oasis cited the band as a major influence.[1] The Kinks broke up in 1996, a result of the commercial failures of their last few albums and creative tension between the Davies brothers.[6] Sully Rd South onto lee Jackson Memorial Hwy into Chantilly, check status of machines at Fair Oaks Mall. Return any defective parts that are present. If you have not heard from Bill Splevins or Mara Toles at this time, continue to Fairfax County Court house. Don't park on Judicial Drive. They were the second group of the British Invasion on The Ed Sullivan Show, appearing in March for two weeks after the Beatles appeared three straight weeks in February 1964. For some time the Dave Clark Five were more popular in the US than in their native UK, but had a renaissance in the UK between 1967 and 1970. The group disbanded in late 1970. On 10 March 2008, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.[2]

It's a shame. They had the best baked buns, great hamburgers. Now all we have is 76 asian restaurants in Annandale. Even Jerry's is shutting down I heard.

The white people are being annexed from Asiandale.

Can someone explain why Fuddruckers closed? I visited that place many times over the years and there were always loads of people and long lines. Did Annandale become over-diversified? Do asians not like American hamburgers?

People like drugs better than burgers. These big chain pharmacies have deep pockets and they get what they want most of the time.

They're opening a new one in Woodbridge, so I guess Mexicans like burgers more than Koreans

RIP

I still remember the arcade, and the little buzzer things that would light up when my burgers were ready.

Oh and the free cookie at the end, with the asian lady working the bakery!

If you're in Annandale and want a burger try the new place on Columbia Pike across from where Bloom used to be, Dice Burger. I haven't been there yet myself, but the reviews I read were all good.

Shit, I remember my buddy demolishing their biggest burger challenge many years ago. It's not like I'd ever go back but I don't like hearing that it's gone. That place had a lot o' character.

It's good, but definitely not as good as Fudruckers.

At Fuds, you could put all the toppings you wanted on your burger. The ambiance was better, and more options.

Dice burger is good, but it's no fudruckers.

I would give dice burger a 6.5/10

Fudruckers a 8/10

Dice Burger Review ~~~

Good Burger, though bun was a little soggy. Fries were average. Prices were reasonable. I would go back.

All the Fuddruckers in the area are closed now, except for the one in Ashburn. Very sad too, used to eat at the one in Annandale, Herndon, and in Fairfax.

The one on 123 in Fairfax is still open. I drive by there regularly.

I eat at the Fudds in Fairfax City about once a month. It seems to be as busy as most locations I've ever been to. These places thrive on high school sports teams.

I like their burgers and dressing bar. They've also expanded the menu over the years.

There were locations in Annandale and just into Alexandria, both on 236, which closed in the last year or two. The chain has been in bankruptcy. Not sure why the franchised locations closed, but there certainly are 1000x more "gourmet burger" joints competing with them in the last 10 years.

I was taking some classes at NOVA 12 years ago. I met this lonely little MILF in one of the classes. Her hubby never took her anywhere, so we would hook-up for lunch at the Annandale Fuddruckers a couple times a week. She thought it was a great place to go - So did I.

Nothing better than getting your dick sucked for the price of a $6.00 burger with a drink.

Thanks for the memories Fuddruckers & Tonya

You're welcome. But I'm not Tonya anymore, I'm Tony now.

Lease expired and they decided to close rather than pay the increased rent.
