How about putting Oliver down? The pound does it for free........It is just a dog, get another one who is not sick......or better yet, don't get another one until you can afford to take care of it.

Dogs and little children are excellent props for pan handling....Ask any politician.

I will donate the magic marker and cardboard...I will even throw in a few plastic bags on the miniscule chance that you are in the 5% of dog owners who clean up after their pets....

I'm with bubs. Dogs ain't humans...that's why you can buy one. The way people elevate their dogs to people status is a modern form of mental illness, IMO. Yes, love your dog and treat it well but keep your perspective that it is A DOG and a pet, NOT a member of your family despite how lonely and desperate you are to make it so...sorry but someone had to clue you in.

Ive had to put pets down due to projected medical costs. We tried once with one of our cats - kidney failure. We spent 4 grand but it didnt help in the end. Never again. The next cat to get really sick they predicted thousands so we decided to say goodbye. We have young kids and are fortunate enough to live comfortably but we do not have the money to spend thousands in cash on state of the art medical care for animals.

Im sorry your pet was injured and I hope your creative effort to fund his care works but I cannot justify any donation. Good luck.

If this is real, I'm very sorry about your dog. These vets are insane and are getting completely out of hand. Dogs are so therapeutic in so many ways and great for both your physical and emotional health. They possess souls and become almost human-like when loved by somebody. Its a shame that society refuses to understand this.

Losing a beloved pet is very hard. Its a shame that people have become so brutal and desensitized. Its only because they are being treated like dirt as well though. Working their asses off and struggling like crazy.

Why people have voted and accepted this ever increasing hell is beyond me.

I had a vet tell me that She would have a dog but couldn't afford one. She went on and on with this made up story about getting her dream dog with a psychotic glaze in her eyes. I knew She was just being full of it.They will go out of their ways to take every last penny from people they know have very little to begin with. I'm starting to think vets belong in the top 10 list of occupations for psychopaths!

I own a Pomeranian and worrying about his future vet bills makes me cringe!
