What if Parking is full at Herndon Monroe Park and Ride

Just wondering what options do we have if there are no slots available at Herndon Monroe park n ride. I go to work late at around 9 30 AM everyday and I struggle to find a spot. Most cases I just drive to D.C for not finding a spot. Can we park the car along the side yellow lines? will I be ticketed? If so How much would that be? Just wondering if I can take a chance. I see people parking there but scared to get a ticket or getting my car towed.

There is never any enforcement of anything at the H-M park and ride. You can pretty much do anything.

If the Park and Ride lot is full go to a motel....and ride.
