He's is so rude and disrespectful toward her.

He treats most of the women on the dias badly but he's visibly rude toward her.

Women are the majority on the Board and yet they re-elect him chair?

Are they masochists?

All of the board members are useless. Abolish the board. Let Garza or one of her cowpokes deal with the Supervisors directly.

Moonie gets elected as chair because he is a partisan Democrat and the other very active Democrat members who toe the party line re-elect him. Why do think a newbies like Pat Hynes and her colleague Tammy K. were picked as his co-chair over longer-serving members. Moonie isn't a masochist. He's just a power hungry jackass who sticks it to anyone who won't rah rah the party line. McLaughlin can hold her own. She faced this moron as the leader of FAIRGRADE. It's probably why he holds a grudge against her.
