Under a new Virginia law that took effect January 1, if you abandon your car on a public thoroughfare during a snowstorm you forfeit ownership. Leave your title in the glovebox and your keys in the ignition.

Just remember 4x4's have the same traction on ice as a front wheel cars. Otherwise you'll just be another 4x4 in the ditch.
4x4 are made for mud, not ice and snow.

4x4's are fine in snow as long as you dont have an idiot behind the wheel. The problem with drivers around here is they think they can just as fast in snow as they do when it's dry....... because they have a 4x4.
I can go just about anywhere in any condition in my 4x4. It's the other jackasses that keep me off the road.

I love doing donuts in the snow in my civic coupe with the blizzak snow tires- its FUN!!!! Who needs 4x4 when good snow tires will do? The only problem I have is if the snow gets too high and my car can't clear it LOL but as far as traction goes, I'm good!
