Where is the best ditch in Fairfax County? Any early arrivals?

Anyone pick their ditch for the storm today? I hear the snow is nearing...

Where is the best ditch in Fairfax County, and should one line-up early for the best spot?


And lastly, will the snow help the Redskins play today, maybe with a win?

The deeper ditches have been taken by the contractor who uses them to bury illegal day laborers to avoid paying them at the end of the day. I think he chooses them so close to the road because the cops would never think of looking there.

...thinking of heading out in a few w/ my giant SUV. I'll have tow straps, etc., to help those who might be in a ditch, already.

Saw several "ditch marks" where cars must've been collected from those preferred ditches. Did see a head-on accident on Hooes (the big curve) where two imports collided, sending one into the ditch. It's actually pretty slippery, but the big 'ol SUV had no trouble...
