Correction: the article doesn't say that 95% of scientists believe global warming is man-made; it says that a UN panel believes with 95% certainty (up from 90% certainty in 2007) that global warming is man-made.

Climate change is debatable, it obviously changes over time naturally but weve been living in a very stable period of time so far. It certainly isnt man made, the earth puts out those gases in far greater numbers it knows how to deal with them. Just like there was never a massive oil bubble from the BP spill they kept saying would appear anyway, the ocean has bacteria that eats oil.

Cave men didnt cause the ice age. The earth does far worse things to itself then we could ever do with volcanoes being one example.

The data hasnt supported the claims for man made global warming for quite some time now. Their predictions have been consistently wrong. So like people who predicted 5k an ounce gold they keep making the predictions more extreme to stay relevant.

Man Made global warming is a self fulfilling prophecy. They get the desired results and it brings more money to them while giving them a self importance that theyre saving the world, they arent. Its really nothing more than an excuse to raise taxes on things at this point. The data hasnt been driving the findings for quite sometime. Even when they find temperature increases it cant be repeated everywhere in the world, they have to cherry pick spots. Global means exactly that, youd be able to pick any spot and find it which they cant. Like the claims of an ice age in the 70s, acid rain, and the o-zone this will fade into the dust and theyll find a new alarmist issue to focus on.

Remember also, as stated above, all of theses scientists who agree with man-made global warming get their funding from the government to prove that it exists. If they came out and said it did not exist, then they would not have a job. Once the government starts funding something, it never goes away. For them, producing bad science with a job is better than telling the truth and not having a job. It is amazing though, how many people buy into this bad science.

Yes its on such a warming trend it hasnt had a temperature chance since the 1990s and can only be observed in certain parts of the globe and not at all in the oceans.

You are right global warming does exist in the sense that it does happen naturally, its not really happening right now though as everything has been stable for a while now, and its certainly not happening because of man.

Anyway, just in case there are people commenting here who honestly do not believe that human activity is contributing to global warming, the report is out and I quote from the Summary for Policymakers, page SPM-12:

"It is extremely likely that more than half of the observed increase in global average surface temperature from 1951 to 2010 was caused by the anthropogenic increase in greenhouse gas concentrations and other anthropogenic forcings together."

And in case the conspiracy folks don't know, "anthropogenic" means "originating in human activity" or "resulting from the influence of human beings on nature."
