Fairfax Police are saying they suspect this was a murder suicide. Shot were two people in their 80's and one in 50's. All were members of the same family. Police were called to the house by another family member who showed up at the house to make sure everything was ok.

Police have not released who owned the gun or if it was registered.

Detectives believe that 81-year-old Thomas K. Appleberry Sr. shot his 81-year-old wife, Rachel Appleberry and his 53-year-old son Thomas K. Appleberry Jr., then shot himself.

Posting anything found in the arrest database says a lot of things.

In this case, it shows he was pretty much a clean, quiet, law-abiding citizen with no previous firearms violations or charges for domestic or other violence.

Posting this stuff is quite pertinent to any discussion like this one.
