Recycling electronics?

Are there any places around here that will recycle miscellaneous electronics-computers, batteries, CRT screens- for free or for a low charge?

What about floursecent lights, both tubes and spiral bulbs?

Best Buy will recycle computers, monitors, computer accessories, HT equipment and televisions under 32 inches for free, two items per person per day per store. All best buy stores have a cart (usually in the vestibule) that you can recycle cell phones, ink, batteries and gift cards. In fairfax:

Tysons: 8449 Leesburg in the car dealer district

Fair Lakes: Fair Lakes Shopping Center across from BJ's

Springfield: Across from the Macys and Springfest entrance of Springfield Mall

Reston: Across from Reston Town Center next to Barnes and Noble

there are county trash/recycling centers.

this is the one i use, which is on picket road (237): [www.flashearth.com]

here's an image (from microsoft's mapping site... i couldnt make it give me a link) that shows a better view of the blue recycling holders and the brown dumpsters.

drop off everything here and you wont have a problem.
