Beulah Road/Nalls Produce
Posted by: Bean ()

Hi...I live around Beulah road and last night around 12am (Sunday night/Monday morning) there were 5 cop cars, a helicopter and drug dog chasing 2 kids. They threw these kids down to the ground, handcuffed them, searched their belongings and then let them go. One happened to be my neighbor (a kid, which they did not notify his parents of what they did)...I went outside and asked what had happened and was told there was an assault near nalls produce on beulah road, an assault with a gun. When I asked the officer was it a random attack she said yes. I asked why the 2 boys were stopped and she said they DID NOT fit the description but since they were walking home and in the area they were stopped and detained. I also saw them give these kids breathalizer's right before uncuffing them. I cannot believe what I saw last night and the reasons from the police. I have searched all day online and have found nothing of an assualt or a shooting. I am not sure if these kids were profiled or what. Has anyone heard of this incident? My neighbor's mother is going to the police station now to find out what really happened as the story of an assualt with a gun seems to not be true.

I think you mean Beulah Street in Alexandria, not Beulah Road in Vienna. We used to have Moutoux Orchards on Beulah Road, but that's now a luxury housing development!

Good luck with getting info on that.

Last week, my husband saw a nun surrender a man to the police -- which would indicate he committed a crime worthy of an arranged surrender. No mention of it in the Vienna Crime Reprt.

Yes, sorry, I mean Beulah Street in Alexandria, VA. 22315. My neighbor went to the police station and said they told her nothing. They are filing a complaint now due to the incident.

Beulah Street (Alex) has always been called Beulah Road by people who live in the area. We've been here since 1968 and never heard it called "Street" until the area build-up of new homes/shopping and the road was widened. Probably called "road" by the locals forever and designated a "street" by the county/state at some point.

They can file a FOIA request for police reports and some other things.. They definitely should lawyer up and pursue the issue.

Yeah, Beulah Road is how I know it. I don't think I ever paid attention to it being ST.

I will let me neighbor know what to ask for to obtain a police report. She said she obtained an attorney today along with the other boy's mom. I am not sure they even did a police report...it happened so quick. Hopefully these kids parents will get some answers. If I find out anything I will update it here.

Not every police event is broadcast on the Web. Perhaps your neighbor should just chock this up to wrong place wrong time. Obviously if there were a ton of cops and the helicopter up there was something pretty big taking place..and How long were you actually watching this take place to get so much of the story. somehow I dont think PD would let you just sit and watch for so long or are you getting this story from the neighbor and kids too. Why does everyone want to try and fucking sue the police..if you dont like how the local force does it why dont you sign up and show 'em how its done..it you dont have the gusto to do that sit down shut up and let htem do their jobs

Taking strolls at midnight is so smart. I wish more people would do it, instead of just delinquent teens.
