FURLOUGHS TO END POSSIBLY BY NEXT WEEK

Well looks like the furloughs are to end next week. Hagel announced that sufficient monies have been found to end the furloughs.

Even if it did end republicans will find another way to cut gubs pay more.

You forget that the sequester was Jack Lew's and Obama's idea.

They just didn't expect anyone to actually call their bluff.

Don't think the Repubs have to do much---people will be leaving and savings will come. Nobody trusts the gubment to keep their hands off the paychecks anymore. The same furloughs are scheduled for next year and the next year and the next year . ..

It's only a matter of time before people realize what this all means. We're not there yet, but Hagel is having an epiphany about it all . . . too bad the Congress isn't.

It's official. SECDEF signed memo says furloughs are reduced to 6 days. DAMMIT!!!

They finally figured out that they were losing twice as much as they were saving just from having employees waste time carping about it. Not to mention the bad morale it was causing. Winston Churchill was right---"you can always count on the Americans to do the right thing after they have exhausted all the other possibilities".
