Police are looking for Nathaniel Jerome Battle, 25, who is wanted on charges of burglary, assault and unauthorized use of a vehicle in connection with a domestic dispute.
On July 5 just before 2 a.m., police were called to the 3600 block of Felmore Court in Dale City where a 46-year-old woman reported she had been assaulted twice by Battle, whom she knows.
During an argument earlier in the morning, police say Battle grabbed the victim’s hand and bit her. The woman dropped the keys and Battle picked them up and took her car, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
About an hour later, Battle is accused of returning to the victim’s house and trying to get in using the same keys. He broke a chain lock, forced his way in and confronted the victim in her bedroom, according to police.
He grabbed her, knocked her to the floor and left, Perok said.
Police obtained warrants charging Battle in connection with the incident but have been unable to find him.
Battle is black, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
