Jason Bourcier is running around to any news press outlet that will listen to whine about an ez-pass fine he received for not paying tolls for 3 years. This is the same guy that was just released from jail and has the nerve to ask for sympathy for continuing to break laws.

SEXUAL ASSAULT, 9/14/2007, 3100 block of Clarendon Blvd. At approximately 1 am on September 14, police officers responded to a bar for a report of a sexual assault. The victim was found unconscious in a basement storage room. The suspect was also on scene. 27 year old Jason Bourcier of Reston was arrested and charged with forcible sodomy.

Bourcier's lawyer, John Boneta, got the charge reduced to sexual battery by force/helpless, which is a misdemeanor. It looks like Bourcier wound up doing a year in the Arlington county jail in exchange for not having to register as a sex offender.

This also explains why he was unemployed in 2009. He'd just gotten out of jail.

It's confusing as why Jason R. Bourcier is not on the sex offenders list, because his conviction under 18.2-67.4 should have landed him on the list, according to the list of offenses listed at http://sex-offender.vsp.virginia.gov/sor/statutes.html

My thinking is either they changed the law requiring registration after he was convicted, or the fact that Jason Bourcier's victim was drunk does not meet the statutory definition of "physically helpless".

Give Jason a break, he did his time assuming he was even guilty in the first place. Somehow, I don't think he gets the best advice.

After he got out, he was supposed to be on the offender's registry for at least 7 years, which is the only reason my family member didn't take this to trial. He secretly petitioned the state without our knowledge and had himself removed. Not only does he have the forcible sodomy charge but before that he had been arrested in Fairfax for evading the police. This guy is a real piece of shit.
