In Falls Church you can go to the hookah bar 'Oasis' 24/7.

It's on Seminary near skyline mall.

Hmm where are your boys' hangouts? I am totally looking for some chill people who stay up late, all my friends work 9-5 but I have a journeyman job so I work odd times.

If I'm not in DC (Fur, Nation, Etc.) there's always Bridges in Fairfax.. If you like EDM that is.

I used to hang out at Green Briar Shopping Center at all hours of the day. I even got yelled at one time by an off duty police officer for being there at 4 or so in the morning with a bunch of friends. It was probably even a school night too, though I don't remember for sure.

Ah, those were the days.

Now the only time I'm up late in Fairfax is either because I'm at a house party, at a bar with some friends, or driving back on my way home after clubbing.

Can't say there's much interesting to do here after last call.

Don't forget Tasty29 in ffx city. Great place to get some greasy grub after a long night at the bar. They're open 24/7 and if it's late night there is guarenteed entertainment with the other partiers in there!

Malek's Pizza off Old Keene Mill rd down near Springfield Mall is open 'till something like 4 on weekends and 2 weekdays. That was the place to be to just hang around during my hanging around days.

Not that you can really "hang out" here, but there is a 24-hour Taco Bell on 29 in Merrifield. I don't know what it is about that place, but its gotta be the best Taco Bell ever created. Maybe its just cuz I'm usually drunk when I go there! Either way, the service is quite prompt even at 3am.

Amphora's is always a nice place to go in the wee hours.

Amphora's is nice if you can handle the patronizing looks of the owners; those folks look like they hate anyone under the age of 25. I've been going there for about 6 years now (since high school) and I've never seen their wait staff smile at anybody that walks in there.

On top of the asshole owners and waitstaff, you have to be able to handle the top-notch food they serve at Amphora's.

Fairfax: Denny's, 29 Diner, Amphora (Fairfax or Herndon), IHOP, Van Dyke Park (I don't think they've reinstituted the park closes at dark policy)
Falls Church: Oasis, Prince of Persia, Route 7 diner.

IHOP off 50, next to Taco Bell in Sully Plaza [smoking section please]. Pretty sure it's open 24 hours... Get some banana pancakes, burn down a few, and pretend like there's no world outside.

I thought so too. But the last time I rolled up there at 5 in the morning coming from DC they were closed. The one in Fairfax is 24 hours.

I used to know one of the guys that partially owned the Amphora.

I couldn't stand him. If I ever see him there again I might make a scene.

The Yechon at Hummer and Little River is 24/7 and serves Korean and Japanese. I like the tempura and soba, not bad.

I'm surprised this area doesn't have more of a selection.

Do you think a 24/7 restaurant would make money, if so, what type of food would you like to see served?

It's about time. How many stabbings and other incidents have occurred there over the years?

I stopped going there in the late 80s when all these little rich white "gang banger wannabees" started hanging out there. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone would get hurt.

We were all happy to have you stop going there. Except that this gave us one less "bada**" to put a beat down on.

Spoken like a typical momma's boy wanksta who goes home to his parent's McMansion after representin' with his homies.

It seems like all that real estate along Gallows is going through a transformation. The Boston Market closed along with the other shops in that strip and the stand alone KFC. I heard they are going to put up another high rise like they have in front of the Cinema, probably the same with the Taco Bell area. I believe the bank next to the Taco Bell is also closed. The little Hispanic looking garage next to Arby's is closed down. Developers know they can get more revenue off that land with an investment.
