Tonight I turn from Burke Lake onto Shipplett and some fucking dickhead in a Big Bite car is riding my ass, honking and high beaming me when I am going 40 mph and Shipplett is 30 mph speed limit. Then the douche bag tries to pass me in his black honda or toyota in the middle lane so I speed up and slow down leaving the asshole trapped in the middle lane of Shipplett. Finally he gives and and gets behind me procdeeding to yell at me in Islam and flashing his headlights etc..

Finally I make my turn and he yells at me flipping me off yelling and doing 60 down Shipplett. I call the store and ask for the manager so whoever handed the phone to some other guy who only understood Arabic who told me to just file a police report and asked what the tag number was.

I hate what Northern VA has become as someone who was born and raised here. I am moving out of this shithole ASAP.

There is no passing lane on Shipplett. It is a two lane road with a CENTER lane for making TURNS from either direction. The center lane is NOT a passing lane. Amazing how stupid many of you are. If you are still too simple-minded to understand this, type the street name into Google Maps and it will be there plain as day.

Technically, according to VA state law, you can pass someone on an unmarked two lane road (assuming the vehicle being passed is driving under the speed limit and the passing vehicle is passing at a speed no greater than the speed limit). However, Shipplett is marked, so there is indeed no passing allowed.

There is an easy and accurate way to determine whether an arab or middle-eastern-looking person is in fact Muslim.

Simply present the subject with a series of cartoons showing various deities or religious figures engaged in amusing graphic sex acts with men or animals. Last week I was behind someone in the left lane of 289 doing 60, no one in front or to the right of him and he wasn't getting out of the left lane, so I moved right to the center lane to pass and get away from him. We were up to 90 before the fucking asshole in his Honda SUV finally backed off so don't expect much sympathy from me for what you did. I know Shiplett's just a two lane road and there was no legal room anywhere for Big Bite guy to pass but that was just a dick move on your part--more so than the Big Bite guy's initial move in trying to pass you on a turning lane. Why not just let him pass and be done with it? Now you've got some raging maniac behind you who may follow you home and you have no idea who he is or what he's carrying. Is the passive-aggressive behavior worth it?
